Diabetes Treatment, Reimagined
Metabolic Life Centers

Finally, a groundbreaking diabetes treatment designed to address the primary cause of diabetes instead of only suppressing the symptoms.

Neuropathy

Diabetic peripheral neuropathy affects nearly 50% of adults with diabetes during their lifetime, and could lead to foot ulcers, pain and lower limb amputation.

Kidney
Failure

Approximately 1 in 3 adults with diabetes has chronic kidney disease. Both type 1 and type 2 diabetes can cause kidney disease.

Heart Attack
& Stroke

People with diabetes are twice as likely to experience a heart attack or stroke.

Vision
Complications

According to the National Eye Institute, more than half of people with diabetes will develop diabetic retinopathy.

Diabetes in the United States

According to the CDC, diabetes is a chronic, non-curable disease that affects how the body turns food into energy.

More than 133 million Americans are living with diabetes or prediabetes. Of those, 8.5 million people have not been diagnosed and don’t know they have it.

Type 1 Diabetes:
Approximately 5-10% of the people who have diabetes have type 1. Symptoms of type 1 diabetes often develop quickly. If you have type 1 diabetes, you’ll need to take insulin every day for life to survive. Currently, there is no cure for type 1 diabetes.

Type 2 Diabetes:
With type 2 diabetes, your body doesn’t use insulin well and can’t keep blood sugar at normal levels. About 90-95% of people with diabetes have type 2. Type 2 diabetes can develop into type 1 diabetes.

Prediabetes:
In the United States, 96 million adults—more than 1 in 3—have prediabetes. More than 8 in10 of them don’t know they have it! Prediabetes also raises your risk for of type 2 diabetes, heart attack, and stroke.

Rethinking Diabetes

The traditional methods of diabetes management utilized for years are:

  • Diet
  • Exercise
  • Medication/Insulin

Diabetes is still at pandemic levels and increasing! Traditional methods are important, as they address life changes that assist with a healthier lifestyle. However, they don’t focus on the root cause of diabetes.

Diabetes Treatment, Reimagined

Metabolic Life Centers utilize a revolutionary, multi-patented system called “Physiologic Insulin Resensitization” (“PIR”). This system provides clinicians with an innovative way of providing individualized patient care where insulin is administered as a hormone rather than a drug. By using insulin in a manner that bio-mimics normal glucose metabolism, we can:

  • Reduce insulin resistance
  • Increase the amount of blood sugar entering the cell
  • Increase the conversion of sugar into energy

This approach has shown the ability to stabilize and, in some instances, reverse the complications of diabetes and other metabolic disorders.

Mechanism of Action

This treatment modality is designed to reduce insulin resistance which is the primary cause of type 2 diabetes and many other metabolic disorders.

With improved insulin sensitivity at the insulin receptor level, glucose can more readily enter cells and be converted into Adenosine Triphosphate, also known as “ATP” — a molecule that carries energy within cells.

Through increasing cellular energy, the protocol is designed to repair and regenerate the body’s cells, peripherally at first, and then through repeated treatment sessions, the cellular restoration progresses to the organ level which helps the body naturally return to more normal physiologic behavior.

Do I Need to Talk To My Doctor First?

We do not require a referral or approval from your doctor; however please note this modality is not a replacement for your doctor. Instead, our clinicians prefer to work with your doctor to co-manage your individualized care plan including treatment, testing, and clinical results.

Because this is a relatively new modality and most doctors use insulin as a drug versus a hormone, your doctor may or may not be fully aware of this patented treatment protocol.
